Our Story

The Meow Maid was founded in Buffalo, NY, with a strong commitment to providing outstanding care for cats. Established and run by owner Melissa, the business was created to fill the gap for a reliable, high-quality pet sitting service tailored specifically for cats.

Melissa works independently and alongside local cat organizations to assist stray cats by humanely trapping, socializing, and offering loving foster care to prepare them for adoption. She also volunteers at Tabby Town Cat Adoption Center.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing guitar, writing music, and attending concerts. She is also an auto enthusiast, with a love for car shows, Rallycross events, and car detailing. Above all, Melissa treasures spending quality time at home with her fiancé, Matt, and their four beloved kitties.
